We are excited to announce another achievement from Netzence Sustainability Limited.
Netzence has been selected as the only company from Nigeria to participate in the Tenth Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development with theme ‘Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Agenda 2063 and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions’; taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from April 17th to 25th, 2024.
After submission of our application Netzence has been selected alongside organisations and commissions like United Nations Development Programme; Developing Planning Section (DPS); IFLA Sub Saharan Africa Regional Division Committee; UN OHCHR; IFLA Sub Saharan Africa Regional Division Committee; Center for International Private Enterprise, Center for International Private Enterprise; African Women’s Development And Communication Network (FEMNET); African Union Commission; CARITAS AFRICA; Ipas Southern Africa; Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation; United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UN ECA); FSD Africa / African Natural Capital Alliance.
The Netzence side event will take place virtually on the April 18th, 2024, from 12pm to 1.30pm (Lagos time) in partnership with the UN ECA.
Our side event will evaluate:
- How technology initiatives support on-going trends in Climate Action and poverty elevation.
- Cost of programmes supporting these initiatives and how are these costs balanced against Global priorities on Climate Action?
- The current Climate Action trade-offs affecting poverty elevation.
- How can costs be shared with Private sector participation towards a sustainable future.
